The 5th Woman strives to support spokenword artists and poets in the process of publishing. There are several packages for publishing. Please read through the options below and create your submission. The 5th Woman open reading period is May -June. You will receive a response within 30 days of your submission.

Package A - Chapbook Pubishing - $0

• Chapbook submission (completed, no editing needed)

• Cover art and set up completed by publisher

• 10 copies provided to the author, additional copies provided at printing cost

• Listed on the website for sales, royalty check received once a year

Package B - Planning, Editing, Mentoring, Publishing - $400 (payment plan available)

• Submit idea for the book

• Weekly Meeting with 5th Woman staff

• 25 copies provided to the author, additional copies provided at printing cost

• Scheduled public reading and signing after publication

Package C - Publishing in Anthology - 2024 The 5th Woman Anthology (Feminine Poets)

• The 5th Woman 2024 Anthology - Topic: Weight on My Shouders

• Submit 5 poems, biography, and high-qualilty photo

• $50 submission fee

• 10 copies of the anthology, additional copies provided at printing cost

Looking to release an audiobook. The 5th Woman has the capability to produce audiobooks. Pleae contact us for more information.
